As a Guild we are proud to be associated with Diss and the Waveney Valley area which has a rich background of both linen and wool spinning and weaving and, as we have recently discovered, dyeing!
We meet on the last Thursday of the month from 12.30 until 15.30, at the Methodist Church Hall in Diss (see below). We also have full day Workshops during the year and demonstrate at many local events. This year we were again part of Maker’s Month at the Forum, Norwich.
You are welcome to join the Guild or come to our meetings as a visitor (£3.00). Even if you don’t spin, weave or dye, you are welcome to join us and learn these skills. You can find out more about our Meetings and our Programme by following the links in the header above.
Please use the contact form for any questions and we will get back to you.

A date for the diary. Designermakers 21 in Diss are holding a Waulking Day on 12th May 2018, where there will be felt making and weaving (and spinning in the morning) and Waulking of the Fabric in the afternoon with guided singing. Do look at their website for more details and the cost.
Our next meeting is on Thursday 31st May, and will focus on preparing fibre for spinning and felting. Take a look to see more about the meeting and what you might like to bring with you. Visitors are always welcome.
